Installing Desk Tray Stacking Supports

For Multi-Level Letter Trays

All of the SuccessImage Desk and Letter trays can be organized into multi-level arrangements. Such arrangements can help organize a desk space and provide additional storage without taking up valuable desk or shelf space.

There are two basic stacking systems used with our products. First, the 07256 stacking supports are designed for use with the Hedberg, Classic and American Legal series of trays.

These supports can be added to any of these trays at any time, allowing you to configure or re-configure trays at will. All Hedberg, Classic and American Legal trays are compatible as shipped from the factory. (Note: The Harvard and Cherry Ridge series of trays are NOT compatible with this type of stacking support - see below for those tray types). The following video demonstrates how to install these stacking supports on Hedberg, Classic and American Legal trays.

Next, the Harvard and Cherry Ridge series of trays utilize a different style of stacking supports. The supports themselves are solid brass rods and are used in conjunction with pre-drilled holes in the trays. As these holes are pre-drilled to match the particular stacking arrangement of the finished tray set, these arrangements cannot be changed from that pre-determined at the factory. Consequently, the proper series of pre-drilled holes will be pre-arranged in the supplied trays to make a stacked arrangement as per your tray order. Once received, the stacking supports will need to be assembled as shown in this video. (Note: This applies ONLY to the Harvard and Cherry Ridge series of multiple stacked trays).
